Africa Geographic Photographer of the Year 2021

The Africa Geographic Photographer of the Year 2021 competition encourages you to submit photographs depicting African wildlife, landscapes, and/or culture.

PRIZES

The winner will receive a cash prize of $5,000 USD and the two runners-up will receive a cash prize of $2,500 USD each.

The winner (plus partner) and the two runners-up (plus their partners) will enjoy a group safari with the CEO of Africa Geographic Simon Espley and his wife Lizz.

HOST COUNTRY

South Africa

Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
