The AIG Public Leaders Programme (AIG PLP) offers emerging African public sector leaders a unique opportunity to develop their leadership capacity and acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to drive change. It is run in conjunction with the University of Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government.

Participants work on these critical skills
– Communicating effectively
– Harnessing digital technology
– Reducing cognitive bias in decision-making
– Strengthening organisational effectiveness
– Maintaining personal integrity
Participants are provided with opportunities to pull together the skills and conceptual frameworks learned in each session, including through project work and group reflection.
After weeks of blended teaching, programme participants are given a window of time to develop a capstone project, allowing them to apply key learnings from the programme into their day-to-day work.

June 2025: Stages 2 (Essays Submission) and Stage 3 (Video Interview)
August 2025: Final Selection
October 2025: Programme Commencement
