Anthology Poetry Award

The Anthology Poetry Art Award was set up to recognise and encourage excellence in the craft of poetry writing and to provide a platform for publication. This award is open to original and previously unpublished poems in the English language by a poet of any nationality, living anywhere in the world. The theme of the 2022 edition of this competition is ‘Dreams’.

PRIZES

The winner will receive a €500 cash prize and the chance to see their work published in a future issue of Anthology. The winner will also receive a one year subscription to Anthology magazine.

Note that a registration fee of €10 is required.

OTHER KEY DATES

31 July 2022: Early Bird Deadline after which the fee rises to €15 per entry.

HOST COUNTRY

Ireland

Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
