AWS AI ML Scholarship Programme
(Updated 12 Apr 2026) The AWS Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) Scholarship programme, in collaboration with Intel and Udacity, aims to provide foundational AI education for up to 100,000 learners 18 years and older who may not have had access to this kind of training.

PRIZES
All learners who graduate from the Challenge phase will receive a three-month subscription to AWS Skill Builder, which offers expert-led digital courses, hands-on labs, certification exam prep, and interactive learning environments.
4,500 of the top performing students from the Challenge phase will advance to participate in a fully-funded Udacity Nanodegree, where they will dive deeper into how generative AI skills align with a future career in technology.

February 1 2023: AWS AI & ML Scholarship applications open on AWS DeepRacer Student. Learn, practice, and participate by completing prerequisites to unlock your unique code to complete.
May 31, 2023: Last day to submit your application for the summer cohort.
June 1, 2023: The Winter cohort applications open.
June 14, 2023 - October 15, 2023: Udacity NanoDegree 1: Summer cohort (1000 students).
October 16, 2023 - February 15, 2024: Udacity NanoDegree 1: Winter cohort (1000 students).
April 10, 2024 - August 12, 2024: Udacity NanoDegree: Combined cohorts (500 students)..
April 10, 2024 - April 10, 2025: 12-Month mentorship for the top 500 students.
