Chivas Regal The Venture 2020 Competition

The call is for the 2020 edition of the Venture (by Chivas Regal), a global search to find and support the most promising startups with the potential to succeed financially and make a positive impact on the lives of others.

PRIZES

The most promising startups - one from each country participating in The Venture - will make it to the global final and have a chance to win a share of $1,000,000 in funding.

The Nigerian winner shall receive:

A place at The Chivas Venture Global Final week, scheduled to take place between March and July 2020. This prize includes:

1. return economy flights from Nigeria;

2. 5 nights’ accommodation in a hotel selected by the Global Promoter;

3. airport transfers at the destination to and from the relevant hotel and any necessary transfers to Competition events during The Chivas Venture Global Final week; and

4. breakfast, lunch and dinner during The Chivas Venture Global Final week.

OTHER KEY DATES

20 December 2019: Nigerian Finalists confirmed by this date.
31 January 2020: Finalists attend Nigeria’s final at Pernod Ricard Nigeria’s office by this date.
31 January 2020: Nigerian Local Winner selected and notified by this date.

Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).

Multiple host countries may mean that no travel is required.
