(Updated 17 Feb 2022) Parents/Teachers/Guardians, the Cliburn Junior Competition and Festival was established in 2015 as another means for the Cliburn to use its standing and expertise to encourage tomorrow’s great artists, to provide a valuable forum for them to express themselves, and to give them an entrance to the next step of their journeys.

The three medalists also receive a comprehensive and personalised career management package, to include three years of concert bookings, artistic planning mentorship, traditional and social media training, logistics support, and tax and financial planning guidance, as well as commercial recording releases and a complete promotional package.
The international artist management and concert booking services for the gold medalist will offer a global career launch. In addition to European and Australian representation by London-based Keynote Artist Management, the winner will have official management across Asia (excluding Japan) by LIU KOTOW International Artists Management, as well as booking services in South America (Halac Artists) and Japan (Concert Imagine).
All participants invited to the Competition will be provided one complimentary, economy-class, round-trip plane ticket to Dallas from their place of residence.
All participants will be given complimentary housing on the campus of SMU (Southern Methodist University) between June 5 and June 18, 2023. Meals, practice facilities, and ground transportation to all Cliburn events will be provided.
In some cases, foreign participants will need visas and will be responsible for securing them. The Cliburn will assist as needed after competitors and festival participants have been notified.
