The mission of the ClimateTech & Energy Prize @ MIT competition is to empower university students to launch companies that tackle the climate challenge. It was previously known as the Clean Energy Prize @ MIT competition.

The most promising business plans will advance as Semi-Finalists. The Semi-Finalists will then receive mentoring and access to other resources through CEP@MIT sponsors and partners. During this time, the selected teams will develop and refine their business plans.
At the CEP@MIT Finals the top teams will compete for a $100,000 Prize.
