CodeLaunch Pitch Competition 2019

This call for applications is for the 2019 edition of CodeLaunch, an annual seed accelerator competition for people and groups with ideas for apps who are seeking seed funding. The CodeLaunch Pitch Day is the culmination of the competition and a showcasing of the best competitors.

PRIZES

Code Authority and Improving's teams of software engineers will each engage in a three-day hackathon on behalf of the two winners' product concepts on August 1st-3rd at the Code Authority headquarters in Frisco, TX, and the Improving office in Plano, TX. Both teams will be dedicated to creating and building well-architected code.

Winners and finalists will also benefit from services-in-kind provided by select CodeLaunch sponsors, as well as a chance to establish a partnership with Code Authority in the weeks that follow the event.

OTHER KEY DATES

June 6, 2019: Quarter-Finalists will be announced

June 12, 2019: Semi-Finalists will be announced.

June 17 - June 28 2019: 30 quarter-finalists and a few alternates will be selected as semi-finalists and invited to select pitch slots at 11am, 2pm, and 4pm each day. Each pitch slot can be in-person at Code Authority or virtual via Skype. Each pitch meeting slot is exactly 30 minutes and the actual pitch must be exactly 5 minutes.

July 8 2019: Finalists will be announced this date.

July 26 2019: Pitch Coaching Workshop for Finalists will be announced prior to this date.

July 31 2019: CodeLaunch Startup Expo. National Seed Accelerator Competition and Startup Conference, Comerica Center - Frisco, Texas, USA

August 1 - 3 2019: 3-day professional hackathon for winners.
