Earth Model Award 2019

The Earth Model Award (EMA) is an international geoscience competition rewarding excellence in Master’s level research. It was established as the Neftex Earth Model Award in 2012, in affiliation with the Geological Society of London, to foster the link between industry and academia by rewarding excellence in Master’s level research.

1st place: $2500 USD for both student and university department
2nd place: $1500 USD for both student and university department
3rd place: $1000 USD for both student and university department

HOST COUNTRY

United States

Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
