Emerging Technologist Abie Award

The Emerging Technologist Abie Award highlights the creative ways women in technology confront problems and seek solutions. It recognizes a midcareer woman technologist in the first 10 years of her technical career. This is a new Abie award.

Recipients will:
Be honoured by the technical women’s community at the Grace Hopper Celebration and invited to give a presentation on the main stage at GHC..
Receive a cash prize.
Have multiple speaking opportunities throughout GHC on their work and accomplishments.
Be awarded an all-expense paid trip to GHC.

HOST COUNTRY

United States

Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
