The Social Enterprise Track of the New Venture Competition (NVC) by the Harvard Business School provides an opportunity for eligible graduate students to explore social entrepreneurship and test ideas for social innovation in a rigorous and supportive environment.

February 1, 2017: Early-Registration Deadline to receive reimbursements for approved expenses.
March 20, 2017: Executive Summary feedback and announcement of semi-finalist teams
March 27, 2017: Business Plans due for all semi-finalist teams
Week of April 3, 2017: Semi-final round of Judging for Social Enterprise Track.
April 3, 2017: Powerpoints due for all semi-finalist teams.
April 10, 2017: Reimbursement paperwork due (For teams that entered by the February 1 deadline).
April 18, 2017: Revised Business Plans due for finalists.
April 25, 2017: New Venture Competition Finale.
Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
