L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Young Talents - Sub-Saharan Africa Programme
(Updated 16 Feb 2023) The 2023 L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science sub-Saharan Africa regional programme aims to promote and encourage the participation of young African women in science. This programme identifies and rewards young talented researchers in the formal sciences, life and environmental sciences, material sciences, engineering sciences and technological sciences.

15 endowments will be awarded to doctoral students and 5 to post-doctoral students.
Amount per Endowment:
€10.000 for doctoral students,
€15.000 for post-doctoral students
Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
