The Max Perutz Science Writing competition aims to encourage and recognise outstanding written communication among the Medical Research Council (MRC) PhD students.
20 Jul 2016
All shortlisted entrants will be invited to a science writing masterclass and the awards ceremony in central London.
The winner will receive a prize of £1,500, and their article published on the MRC Insight blog and the MRC website.
Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
