Orbetello International Piano Competition

(Updated 7 Mar 2023) This call for entries is for the 2023 Orbetello International Piano Competition. Parents/Teachers/Guardians, note that the competition is also open to entrants below 18 years of age.

PRIZES

1st prize: €4000 and a concert for piano and orchestra
2nd Prize: € 2000
3rd Prize: € 1000

It will be possible to divide the second and third prizes in the case of ex- aequo (exactly equal score)

The winning candidates of the first three prizes will perform in the award concert in which they will perform pieces from the repertoire already presented during the competition.

Note that an application fee of:€110 is required.

Italy

Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
