The Second Place Winner will receive:
$1,000 in cash
Their essay title published in Writer’s Digest magazine’s May/June 2023 issue

The Third Place Winner will receive:
$500 in cash
Their essay title published in Writer’s Digest magazine’s May/June 2023 issue

Fourth through Tenth Place Winners will receive:
$100 in cash
Their essay titles published in Writer’s Digest magazine’s May/June 2023 issue

Eleventh through Twenty-Fifth Place Winners will receive:
A $50 gift certificate for writersdigestshop.com

Note: An entry fee of $25 is required.

HOST COUNTRY

United States

Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
