Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year

This call for entries is for the 2022 edition of the Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year, a competition that celebrates the very best in food photography and film from around the world.

Overall winner:
- £5,000 cash prize
- The opportunity to see your work displayed at the Royal Photographic Society, Bristol, giving your work free high profile exposure.
- Having your image appreciated by some of the leading figures in the photography and food industries during the judging process.
- A dedicated page showing an in depth profile of the overall winner featuring the winning image.
- A dedicated press release promoting your image to international photography and food media.
- Having your hard work and creativity credited wherever the image is used and it will be seen by millions of people across the globe.

Category winners:
- All category winners will receive a prestigious trophy.
- The opportunity to see your work displayed at the Royal Photographic Society, Bristol, giving your work free high profile exposure.
- The winner of the Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year category will win £1000.
- The winner of the Pink Lady® Apple a Day category will win £1000.
- The winner of the Production Paradise Previously Published category will win a special feature in the Production Paradise Spotlight Food & Drink Photography online magazine, along with a 12-image gallery of their work.
- The winner of One Vision Imaging Cream of the Crop, a category of Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year will win £300 for use against One Vision Imaging services
- The winner of MPB Food Influencer, a category of Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year will win an MBP voucher for £1000 to spend on any used photography or videography equipment at MPB.com
- The winner of the Fujifilm Award for Innovation will win a Fujifilm X100V, worth £1300 and a voucher for £200 worth of printing from the MyFujifilm website which has a fantastic array of printing services and products. (No cash alternative).
- The winner of the Claire Aho Award for Women Photographers in association with Visit Finland category will receive a Visit Finland package including accommodation in Helsinki and return flights.
- The winner and two runners up of the Student Food Photographer of the Year category will receive an RPS Membership, worth £55. The winning student will also have their work published in the award-winning RPS Journal.
- The winner of the Student Food Photographer of the Year category will also have the unique opportunity to have a 60 minute one-to-one Zoom meeting with Commercial Photography Consultant and Mentor, Zoe Whishaw. This will include:
Image review of up to 30 images
Website review
Analysis of creative direction
Options and ideas to take career forwards.

Note that an application fee of £30 is required.

HOST COUNTRY

United Kingdom

Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
