Rising Stars is a competition by Tech Nation for innovative, early-stage tech startups, with a prize package designed to send your business into the stratosphere.

OTHER KEY DATES

12 – 27 November, 2018: Shortlisting will take place. 11 regional judging teams will review all applications, from which, 33 companies will be shortlisted.

27 November, 2018: They would have contacted you by this date to let you know whether you have been shortlisted to go to the semi-final.

Mid January 2019:
Semi Finals
They’ll provide all semi finalists with pitch training and expert advice. The judges will select the best startups for the Grand Final.

Late January 2019:
Grand Final
All finalists will pitch to become one of the Rising Stars. The semi-finalists will have the opportunity to exhibit at the event.

HOST COUNTRY

United Kingdom

Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
