$50,000 and the illustrious Disrupt Cup.
In the Battlefield, your startup will pitch on-stage at Disrupt in front of judges from the top VCs and several thousand people in the live audience. The pitches are also livestreamed on TechCrunch and writer will cover your company and release a post during the event.
Battlefield teams are provided free tickets to Disrupt, a booth in a designated section of Startup Alley for the Battlefield, invites to the TechCrunch VIP Dinners, After-Parties and of course, Battlefield swag. To promote the Battlefield further, they collaborate with Crunchbase, ProductHunt, and AngelList to make sure their startups are visible everywhere when they launch!
Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
