Wakini Kuria Prize for Children’s Literature
(Updated 12 Apr 2025) This call for entries is for the 2025 edition of the Wakini Kuria Prize for Children’s Literature, which was established in 2019 to honour the memory and legacy of Wakini Kuria who served on the Advisory board of the African Writers Development Trust and as the Chief Editor of Writers Space Africa (WSA) magazine from 2017 until her demise in 2019.
