WikiProject Women in Red Translation Contest


The WikiProject Women in Red Translation Contest or "translatathon" is focused on the translation of biographies of women from other language versions of Wikipedia.

PRIZES

In April, May and June, there will be virtual awards for the top three contributors of acceptable new translated articles. There will also be special recognition for the top contributor over the full three-month period as well as for the contributor who has translated from the most different languages over the full three months.

HOST COUNTRY

United States


Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
