DEADLINE

30 Jun 2016

PRIZES

Crucial commercialisation support is awarded to a shortlist of innovative applicants through a six-month period of training and mentoring.

Following this period of mentorship, finalists will be invited to present at an event held in Africa and a winner will be selected to receive £25,000 along with runners-up, who will each be awarded £10,000.

OTHER KEY DATES

The finalists will present their work to the judging panel at an event taking place in May 2017.

Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).

Multiple host countries may mean that no travel is required.
