African Teen Writers Awards
This call for entries is for the 2023 edition of the African Teen Writers Awards. The aim is to inspire and empower young writers by encouraging them to share their stories and break the negative stereotypes associated with the African continent.

There are two categories: Poetry and Prose
The winners of each category will receive a certificate of achievement and a cash prize of $100.

HOST COUNTRIES

Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
