Chevening/OCIS Fellowship


The Chevening/Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS) Fellowship is a collaboration between the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office and OCIS, for mid-career professionals who are dedicated to the promotion of academic activities which encourage a more informed understanding of the culture and civilisation of Islam and contemporary Muslim societies.

The Chevening/OCIS Fellowship offers financial support to individuals to undertake a period of independent study and research at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies.

PRIZES

- Six month period of research at OCIS

HOST COUNTRY

United Kingdom


Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
