(Updated 13 Dec 2021) This call for entries is for the 2022 edition of the Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC) competition, the world’s largest startup competition for entrepreneurs addressing global challenges based on the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

XTC’s Global Challenge Categories: AgriTech, Food & Water; Cleantech, Materials and Environmental Solutions; Education; Enabling Technologies; Fintech; Health; and Smart Cities and Transportation

The Finalist Cohort will be invited to the virtual XTC Bootcamp and Global Finals to meet the VC and corporate executive evaluators. Selected Finalists will also pitch to XTC judges at the Category Finals, who will select the winner of each Category. There will also be 2 special Award winners: Founder Award Winner, and the People’s choice Award Winner. These Category Winners will then advance to the final event, the Extreme Tech Challenge Global Finals.

HOST COUNTRY

United States

Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
