Innovation in Cycling and Walking Funding competition
This is an open competition run as a Small Research Business Initiative (SBRI). The Department for Transport (DfT) is looking to fund a portfolio of projects that propose innovative means of tackling the barriers to walking and cycling, leading to more journey stages being made by bicycle or on foot.
7 Jun 2017
The DfT will fund up to £470,000 (four hundred and seventy thousand pounds) for innovative projects that lead to more walking and cycling.
OTHER KEY DATES
Registration deadline: Midday on Wednesday 7 June 2017
Application deadline: Midday on Wednesday 14 June 2017
Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
Multiple host countries may mean that no travel is required.
