SPE Regional Student Paper Contest (SPC)

(Updated 7 Feb 2022) This call for entries is for the 2022 edition of the SPE Regional Student Paper Contest (SPC). Every year, The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) coordinates 14 regional student paper contests at the undergraduate, master's, and PhD levels.

PRIZES

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent restrictions on travel, all Regional SPC competitions are aiming to run as virtual competitions. Winners of the regional contest will advance to the International Student Paper Contest held during the SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE), during which the competition organisers aim to allow all students to present virtually.

HOST COUNTRY

United States

Note that while some organisers may accept applications from all around the world, you may still be required to travel to the host country in order to take part in the later stages of a competition for instance, or you may be required to live there for a period of time to take part in a funded programme (e.g. scholarship, incubator, accelerator).
